Class S2 1994

The first distinctive FB 46’ Casino Tivoli of Hannes Bohinc, boastings three Seatek engines, won all the Martini races during 1994 at an impressive average of above 70 knots as the Austrian continued to dominate, this time in the Sport 2 category.

As well as retaining the Giro de Mallorca, the Austrian claimed the Viareggio – Bastia – Viareggio, San Felice Circeo and Rapallo – Monte Carlo – Rapallo Tigullio Trophy to enhance his reputation in competitive powerboat racing even further.

He also took the silver medal in the Harmsworth and came third in the final placings of the Martini Trophy, a comprehensive index of performance, winning his category in the process.

His link-up with FB Design had paid instant dividends.

With silverware and Bohinc now well acquainted, the groundwork had been firmly laid for the entrepreneur to enjoy quite possibly his finest time in powerboating to date over the following 12 months.
